| FRI "Joey Palomo and Chris Bejado"
It
seems talent runs in the family. Patrick hosted
his older brother and very talented bass player
Joey Palomo and local drummer, the great Chris
Bejado. What appeared to start as a Jazz standard
trio — quickly turned into a full band,
with Monica adding vocals, Lingo on guitar,
Miguel on percussion, Gary on trumpet and
off-island visitor Richard on harmonica. Whew!
No kidding — this was truely a wonderful
night of impromtu Jazz! |

| FRI "Forrest Harris and Doc Perez"
Patrick
played host to 'family' so to speak this Friday
night as he invited local Jazz legend Forrest
Harris (lead guitar), and non-gigging Jazz
guitarist Dr. Chris Perez. Forrest (Patrick's
uncle) used to play with Patrick's father
back in the heyday, and now even in his golden
years, Forrest plays spirited. Doc Perez (a
real doctor by the way and Patrick's cousin),
also played spirited as this non-gigging player
performed like a seasoned professional. |

| FRI "Lawrence Laguana and Donnovan
Brooks"
The
talented Lawrence and charasmatic Donnovan,
substituted for Patrick Palomo as our resident
host had to take a break to perform a reunion
concert of his own — with his old band
the Kasuals. Nevertheless, the fans of Jazz
were treated to a great pair of string players
— and Donnovan's powerful voice added
a bluezzie touch to the Late Show. We can
only hope that these guys will play again
when Patrick returns back to the 'host' chair
next week! |

| FRI "Latte Jazz Group"
It
was bound to happen and boy are we glad it
did! Patrick invited his own Jazz band, the
members of the Latte Jazz Group. The night
was filled with wonderful vocals provided
by Cindy Svec and the deep booming bass of
husband Andy. Mark Eclevea filled-in for Chris
Tydingco adding the nice beats and from time
to time the 'bam - bam', while Mike DiAmore
was his usual magical self — playing
his sax to an appreciative audience. |

| FRI "Mike Hartdendorp, Dave Santos
and Santino Sgambelluri"
— Encore Performance
The
boys were back to perform one last time before
Hawaii-bound Santino had to make his way back
to duty. Dave was under the weather and couldn't
make it quite the reunion it was a week earlier,
but nonetheless, the Renaissance sound was
booming. For those that missed the Aug. 19th
performance, too bad — you missed a
magical night of music and goodwill. |

| FRI "Mike Hartdendorp, Dave Santos
and Santino Sgambelluri"
It's
been awhile since these three guys shared
some time on the stage performing in front
of an audience ... but boy they didn't seem
to miss a beat. Guest bass player Jude Cruz
completed the mix for a night full of great
music, and standing room only appreciative
audience. Even Mario came out to play bass
— almost making it a complete Renaissance
reunion! If you missed this show, don't worry
— the boys are coming back for one more
encore show on August 26! |

Encore Performance
You
never get tired of great music — especially
when it's Fried Bananas in 'da house. Back
by popular demand, the boys worked their magic
with Patrick once again to a greatful audience. |

The
smooth and deep DIVA voice of Linda and special
suprise guest Telo, made for a sexy night
of smooth old-school Jazz. If you missed this
show, too bad — you never know when
Linda will take up the microphone again. |

the best known secret on island are the talents
of Fried Bananas ... this full-set band plays
tight and right. For those of you who missed

One
word describes the duo guests of Carlos Bordallo
and Carolos Laguana ... incredible. Other
surprises were an impromtu performance of
vocals from Telo and Mike ... along with a
blue-like performance on the harmonica! |

Latin
Jazz lovers got a treat as Cano & Lawrence
funked the night with Pat. Cano with his infectious
beat (and latin vocals), Lawrence on bass
and Gary with a surprise performance on horns,
truly made this a festive night. |

and performers, Jesse
& Ruby! Surprise guest performer Donovan
Brooks showed up to jam some tunes too. |

their night with Patrick. The smooth voice
